Martin Fuchs is the new number one! After a complete year with Steve Guerdat standing on the top (on december 2018, nr 1 was the dutch rider Harrie Smolders) the 27 years old swiss rider Martin Fuchs is the new leader of the Longines Ranking. So three Veredus riders in a row on the top of the Fei Ranking!

Martin Fuchs gained most points in the second part of the year, with his ride Clooney winning the European Championships, the World Cup in Lyon and the Rolex Grand Slam in Geneve  but also thank to The Sinner, winner of the World Cup GP of London Olympia.

Couldn't be a better year for the whole Veredus Riders team.

Steve Guerdat kept the 1st place for 12 months, gaining many points with the results of Alamo (winner of the World Cup Final), Albfuehrer's Bianca (2nd in the GPs of Geneve, La Baule and Calgary), Venard de Cerisy (winner GP of St Gallen)...

In March Henrik Von Eckerman won the Rolex Grand Prix of Indoor Brabant riding the phenomenal Toveks Mary Lou.

In May Daniel Bluman won the Grand Prix in Rome with Landriano Z!

Then it was the time of Ben Maher and Explosion W, unbeatable in Aachen Prix of Europe as well as in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London and Rome. They also took silver medal at the European Championship in Rotterdam, won the Champions Tour Final and the Super Grand Prix in Prague!

The European Championships registered also a fantastic come back of Marcus Ehning and Comme Il Faut scoring the best result in the individual final and ending at the 5th place!

In Chio Calgary Max Kuehner and Chardonnay took the third place.

World Cup season started very well for the Veredus Team:

GP CSI-W Lyon:                 1st Martin Fuchs - Clooney
GP CSI-W Verona:            1st Scott Brash - Hello M'Lady
GP CSI-W Madrid:            1st Marcus Ehning - Pret a Tout
GP CSI-W Toronto:          1st Bertram Allen - GK Casper
GP CSI-W Poznan             1st Janika Sprunger - King Edward

Meanwhile at the end of the season Guido Junior Klatte with Asagan M won the CSI4* Grand Prix in Muenchen! Also irish rider Darragh Kenny had a fantastic year entering the top ten after so many good results with Romeo, Important de Muze and Balou du Reverton. The season ended with the World Cup in Mechelen where Pius Schwizer and Cortney Cox got a second place in the Grand Prix!!!

In 2019 in Aachen, Veredus presented also the Veredus Groom Team, to strengthen the relations with our fantastic grooms, so important for the welfare of the horses and their results.

The Longines Fei Rankings in January 2020 cannot be better for the Veredus Team with four riders in the top five:

1st          Martin Fuchs
2nd        Steve Guerdat
4th         Ben Maher
5th         Peder Fredricsson
