RIDING TO EXCELLENCE AT THE FIRST VEREDUS EXCELLENCE DAYS WITH HARRIE SMOLDERS

The first appointment with the Veredus Excellence Days was an all-round success. Starting with the protagonist Harrie Smolders who faced the two days of lessons fresh from the victory at the Global Champions Tour riding Uricas.
Housed in the splendid venue of the RH Stable in Bergamo, the horses began to arrive the day before from the most diverse Italian locations: from Bologna, Modena, Treviso, Milan and even from Foggia, as well as the auditors who filled the Club House came from Rome, Verona, Turin and various parts of Italy.
The couples were divided into three groups: the first with young horses (Nicole Cereseto with American Pie, Giulia Arioldi with Mc Fly, Martina Berto with Asagi and Francesca Algarotti with the more experienced Quaite); the second with more experienced riders and horses, some already performing in 150m classes (Clara Pezzoli with Dukas, Andrea Pino with Hè Men, Giovanni Fanti with Amore, Gianluca Recchia with Vivant II); the third group very similar to the second for the quality and experience of the couples (Giulia Martinengo and Everglow, Gianluca Recchia and Iron Boy Z, Daniele Cuva and Cap Horn, Micol Boni and Mokka).
Among the public, however, also trainers and various personalities from the equestrian world such as Filippo Moyersoen, Antonio Tabarini, Marco Porro and several other riders and instructors.
The first day of lessons demonstrated the daily work on the flat, on ground poles and small jumping exercises to fix some habits for horses and riders, while the second day involved a real course with a the warm-up and jump-off.
The Veredus Excellence Days that kicked off with Harrie Smolders represent the company's desire to share and disseminate equestrian culture through the great riders who make up the Veredus Riders Team. They were two days of great riding and stimulus.
