Yes. Vita Vest is certified according to the strictest European standards:
  • EN 1621/4:2013 for the Airbag System (motorcycle standards – the most rigorous)
  • EN 1621/2:2014 – Level 2 for the ATP40 Back Protector
You can replace the cartridge yourself only if the Airbag is activated without impact. After any impact, Vita Vest must be sent in for inspection. Replacement must always be done using an original Veredus cartridge and the supplied charging key. For detailed instructions, follow the manual or the video tutorial

Both components can be easily removed via zippers and Velcro to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. We recommend watching video tutorial
We recommend contacting an authorized dealer or Veredus Srl for service in all cases involving impact. The Vest should also be inspected after 5–10 non-impact activations, or in any case, after 4 years from the purchase date or last inspection.
Not necessarily. In case of a non-impact activation, the system can be recharged with a new cartridge, after completing all the safety checks listed in the manual.

No. Using non-original Veredus cartridges is prohibited as it may compromise the functionality and safety of the Vest, voiding both certification and warranty.

The Back Protector is an integral part of the safety system and is required to maintain both safety certifications.
Yes. The Full Back Airbag system and ATP40 Back Protector provide full spinal coverage, including both thoracic and lumbar regions.
The Vest should fit snugly (over clothing) without being tight or uncomfortable. While riding, it must allow full range of motion and should not interfere with the saddle cantle. The Standard and Long Fit versions help ensure the perfect fit for every rider.
